There is no light

Every day is a fight.

She wants to fly

Into the sky

But if she goes,

She knows she can’t return.

It will burn and twist and turn.

Sorrow tears wrap around her fears

She always tries and never lies,

Except when she says she’s fine.

No one ever seems to notice the signs.

But oh does she shine

Laughing while she wants to cry,

Living while she wants to die

Nobody cared,

She’s so scared.

Days go by.

She stays the same

Hoping just to fade away.
